SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Unit Offerings

Developed by certified Youth Workers and secondary school teachers in line with the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and Victorian Government initiatives such as Respectful Relationships, Wolfmark offers a range of Units aimed to target the ever changing, and wide-ranging sociopersonal needs of young people in the 21st Century. Wolfmark units are dedicated to developing responsible, respectful and resilient young people, giving them the skills necessary to safely thrive and actively participate in society.

Each Unit Topic is targeted by a large group seminar incursion delivered by our experienced Youth Workers, has supporting curriculum (6-10 lesson unit plans and slide decks) developed by our VIT registered teachers, and comes with optional staff professional development and parent seminars. Additionally, small group intervention and support is available for targeted students on an ongoing (term long) basis.

Units have been scoped from years 7 to 12, and are designed to target the specific needs of young people throughout their schooling journey. Seminars can be tailored to specific cohort and group needs and well as school and social contexts.

Study Group on the Grass

Students

Student programs are designed to strengthen personal development, wellbeing, resilience and decision making through sessions that speak directly to the challenges young people face. Each experience encourages students to reflect, grow and take ownership of their journey. Our approach builds confidence, resilience and real world social skills creating lasting change.

Study Group

Educators

We support educators to confidently engage with complex topics. This includes equipping them with practical tools, language, strategies and frameworks which is effective in the classroom and beyond. Whether delivered as seminars, professional learning sessions or part of a deeper partnership, we build capacity that empowers educators to more positively impact students.

Family Dog

Parents & Carers

We work with parents and carers so they can better understand the pressures young people face, and their perspectives on the world. Our approach builds bridges between home and school, giving parents and carers skills and a shared language to support their children. Particularly effective when schools and families work together, these sessions turn concern into connection and confusion into confidence.

PROGRAM DELIVERY

Our programs have been designed to be delivered with flexibility and dynamism in relation to school contexts and needs.

Programs can be delivered directly by trained Wolfmark facilitators, via classroom teachers with Wolfmark curriculum and lesson plans, or a combination of the two.

CURRICULUM

Designed by curriculum experts and teachers, Wolfmark's curriculum has been developed to compliment our Seminar sessions to ensure deep and authentic learning is effectively embedded.

Entire unit plans, with lesson slide decks, activities and teacher instructions have been developed for each of our units and are designed to be delivered by your teachers in their own classrooms.

SEMINARS

Delivered by our trained facilitators to entire cohorts, these 1 hour seminars are engaging and student focused. Whilst each seminar is tied to a topic, they are adaptable to cohort and school needs.

Revolving around a Learning Goal specific to the unit, these seminars will leave students thinking, reflecting and striving to be positive agents of change in their school community.

SMALL GROUPS

Targeting specific groups of young people (often those at risk), our small group interventions are designed for 10 - 15 participants.

Our Youth Workers develop strong connections and relationships with students and work through a specific topic of need as identified by the school. Sessions are also adaptive and cover additional needs as they arise.

These interventions run for a term.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

1 hour staff professional development, designed to upskill staff on the socioemotional issues being faced by their students.

Staff will leave with an expanded teacher toolkit on how to manage and support their students through specific topics.

PARENT SEMINARS

Facilitated by our Youth Workers, our Parent Seminars run for 2 hours and are focused on upskilling parents and carers on the topics being explored by their young people.

Designed to ensure wrap-around support for our young people and facilitate the development of strong Home - School working relationships.

WHOLE SCHOOL

Working in partnership with the school, Wolfmark provides a uniquely tailored and adaptive program to educate students, educators, and parents, as well as target specific and/or systemic issues facing the school or community.
